Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for follow-up eye treatment, where he underwent a medical examination.
According to PIMS administration, he was given his fifth intravitreal eye injection, which was successfully administered under the supervision of specialist doctors.
During the medical examination, doctors stated that Imran Khan’s overall health is stable and improvement has been observed in his eye condition.
PIMS further reported that OCT tests also showed positive changes in the condition of the eye, after which the need for further treatment was reviewed.
The administration said the entire medical procedure was carried out as a day-care surgery under the supervision of expert doctors, with strict adherence to all medical protocols.
After the treatment, Imran Khan was discharged with necessary instructions, and further follow-up guidelines have also been issued.
