Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met with Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, where detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations and the regional situation.
During the meeting, the Speaker of the National Assembly extended heartfelt congratulations to the Iranian leadership and people on the Iran–US peace agreement.
He said that Pakistan welcomes this agreement, describing it as a positive and encouraging step toward promoting peace, stability, and mutual trust in the region.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that the Iran–US peace agreement will play an important role in establishing peace at both regional and global levels.
Iran’s Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam appreciated Pakistan’s government, parliament, and diplomatic leadership for their efforts in facilitating the peace process between Iran and the United States.
He said that Pakistan’s political, parliamentary, diplomatic, civil, and military leadership played a positive and effective role in this process, which is highly commendable.
The meeting also included discussions on strengthening Pakistan–Iran bilateral relations, enhancing parliamentary cooperation, and reviewing the overall regional situation.
The Iranian Ambassador, along with his delegation, also attended a session of the National Assembly and praised Pakistan’s parliamentary traditions.
He said that the government and people of Iran will always remember Pakistan’s role and regard it as a sincere contribution toward peace.
