A severe heatwave is expected to continue in Lahore, with temperatures likely to rise between 44°C and 45°C in the coming days, according to weather forecasts.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather across the city. Due to intense sunshine, the heat will feel even stronger, creating difficult conditions for residents during daytime hours.

Experts have warned that the hottest part of the day will be during the afternoon, and citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Special care should be taken by children, elderly people, and those suffering from health issues.

Residents have been urged to drink plenty of water, wear light-colored clothing, and take necessary precautions while going outside in order to stay safe from the effects of extreme heat.
