Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Rodolphe Haykal, visited Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) and held a meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to discuss matters of mutual interest, defense cooperation, and regional security.

During the meeting, both military leaders exchanged views on the evolving security situation in the region and explored opportunities to strengthen military-to-military relations between Pakistan and Lebanon. They also emphasized the importance of enhancing professional exchanges and training collaboration between the armed forces of the two countries.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its longstanding and friendly relations with Lebanon. He stated that Pakistan highly values its ties with the Lebanese Armed Forces and remains dedicated to expanding bilateral defense cooperation in the years ahead.

General Rodolphe Haykal praised the professionalism, operational capabilities, and achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He also acknowledged Pakistan’s significant contributions to regional stability and international peace efforts.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visit reflects the shared commitment of both nations to deepen defense ties and strengthen cooperation between their respective armed forces.
