Iran has clarified its position regarding recent reports about a possible agreement with the United States. The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that diplomatic contacts with the U.S. are ongoing; however, no final agreement has been reached yet.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, the negotiation process is continuing and there has been progress on some important points, but a complete and final outcome has not yet been achieved. He added that large portions of the draft text have been finalized on certain issues, but Iran will not compromise on its fundamental principles and red lines.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also said that certain external actions are affecting the diplomatic process, although Iran remains willing to continue negotiations.

The statement further noted that Qatar and Pakistan are playing a mediating role in the process, and efforts are ongoing to reduce tensions in the region. Iran has made it clear that it will not accept any decision made under pressure or coercion.

On the other hand, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that haste or incorrect strategy could further complicate the situation. According to him, such decisions could destabilize the region and increase problems.

At present, talks between Iran and the United States are ongoing, but an official announcement of a final agreement has not yet been made.
