Both leaders highlighted the role of the country\u2019s military leadership and paid tribute to martyrs and security personnel for their sacrifices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Zardari praises military leadership
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

President Asif Ali Zardari described the leadership and decisions of Asim Munir as key factors behind the success of Marka-e-Haq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also appreciated the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force and praised the role of the Shaheens in defending the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president termed the defense capabilities of the Pakistan Navy a matter of national pride and said Pakistan had demonstrated responsible conduct by giving what he described as a balanced response to aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the president, Pakistan\u2019s actions conveyed a message to the world regarding the country\u2019s defense preparedness and capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Zardari reiterated Pakistan\u2019s stance on the Kashmir issue and called for its resolution in line with United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president also criticized India\u2019s reported move regarding the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it \u201cwater terrorism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWater is a matter of life for millions of Pakistanis,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afghanistan, regional stability also discussed
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

President Zardari urged Afghanistan not to allow its soil to be used for terrorism against Pakistan or other regional countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further stated that Pakistan had emerged as a symbol of balance and stability in the region through the efforts of the prime minister and military leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president also said Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic role in efforts linked to the Iran-US conflict had received international appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq as a day of gratitude and tribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the nation saluted its martyrs and ghazis, adding that the armed forces had stood \u201clike a steel wall\u201d in defense of the homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prime minister said Pakistan\u2019s forces on land, sea, air, and cyber fronts had strengthened the country\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Pakistani nation cannot be intimidated or subdued,\u201d he said, adding that Pakistan had gained a decisive advantage against enemy aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premier paid tribute to Asim Munir, Zaheer Ahmed Babar, and Naveed Ashraf for their leadership and strategic role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Pakistan remained vigilant in defending its borders and would continue efforts against terrorism and security threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pakistan to continue peace efforts

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said peace in the region was not possible without resolving the Kashmir issue and reiterated Pakistan\u2019s support for the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also stated that Pakistan was increasingly being recognized globally as a responsible state and a supporter of peace and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
