Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that the Punjab government has set a new record by presenting its third surplus budget, with special emphasis on education, healthcare, and social welfare sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She stated that Punjab\u2019s farmers are among the biggest beneficiaries of this budget, while development projects are not confined to paperwork but are visibly being implemented on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Uzma Bukhari, the Punjab government is continuing all development projects at the same pace using its own resources. She highlighted that major public welfare initiatives such as \u201cApni Chhat Apna Ghar\u201d (Own Roof, Own Home), \u201cSuthra Punjab\u201d (Clean Punjab), and \u201cAsaan Karobar\u201d (Easy Business) are progressing successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She further announced that the electric bus network in Punjab will be expanded to 147 tehsils, providing modern and convenient transportation facilities to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Information Minister said that development in Punjab is not limited to a single region; its impact can be seen equally from Attock to Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan. Equal opportunities for development are being provided across all districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also stated that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has addressed many of the shortcomings of previous administrations within a short period and has prioritized public service. According to her, the politics of public service is receiving greater public support compared to the politics of protests and sit-ins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
