During the meeting, both leaders held detailed discussions on the country’s overall political, economic, and law-and-order situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two leaders also discussed the recent understanding reached between Iran and the United States, describing it as a positive development for peace and stability in the region. On the occasion, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman appreciated Pakistan\u2019s role in facilitating the Iran-US understanding, stating that this historic contribution would always be remembered. He added that the development had paved the way for lasting peace across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mohsin Naqvi briefed Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman on the Iran-US negotiations and the government’s diplomatic efforts in this regard. He said that the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal had played a significant and unforgettable role in promoting peace in the region. According to him, Pakistan deserves credit for helping reduce regional tensions, and the government is grateful to Allah Almighty for this achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman also raised the issue of Pakistanis stranded in Somalia and urged the government to take effective diplomatic measures to ensure their safe and immediate return. The Interior Minister informed him about the government’s ongoing efforts on the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both leaders also emphasized the need for joint efforts to address the country’s economic challenges, provide relief to the public, and resolve national issues.
